The Outdoor Adventure CCA provides students with hands-on opportunities to explore nature, master outdoor skills, and grow into confident, future-ready leaders. Grounded in MOE’s 21st Century Competencies (21CC) framework, our progressive curriculum equips members with essential life skills through dynamic outdoor activities, team challenges, and practical skill-building sessions. Through activities ranging from navigation and knot-tying to outdoor hiking and problem-solving tasks, students step out of their comfort zones in a safe, supportive environment.
Learning Outcomes

Master foundational outdoor skills, including map reading, orienteering, knot-tying, and basic survival techniques.
Apply creative problem-solving and adaptive thinking when navigating dynamic or unpredictable outdoor environments.
Work effectively in teams during outdoor problem-solving tasks and group hikes. Develop clear communication skills under pressure, peer leadership, and strong mutual trust.
Practice environmental stewardship and care for local natural spaces, growing into responsible and active community members.
