Environmental Science CCA

The Environmental Science CCA nurtures environmentally conscious students who are passionate about sustainability and committed to making a positive difference in the school and community. Through engaging learning experiences, environmental projects and leadership opportunities, students develop their awareness of environmental issues and apply scientific inquiry and problem-solving skills to authentic, real-world challenges. They build confidence, resilience, teamwork and communication skills while learning to take initiative and act responsibly. These meaningful experiences empower students to become responsible Eco Stewards who contribute towards a more sustainable future.

• Develop leadership skills by guiding and mentoring junior members during CCA sessions.

Eco Stewards proudly showcase their handmade solar-powered toys in celebration of Earth Day.

Students getting hands-on with biodiversity, surveying local plant and animal life during BioBlitz organised by National Parks Board.

Making waves, our students design their very own World Water Day game to share with peers at CCA Connect.

Students extract starch from natural sources and combine it with glycerine and vinegar to create a biodegradable bioplastic, exploring sustainable, plant-based alternatives to petroleum plastics and their role in reducing plastic waste.
